How to get enrolled in roller hockey?
I want to start playng roller hockey, I’m a decent skater and pretty good passer and shooter and watch hockey to learn pretty much anytime I can. I want to play at GIRH (google it, my local team) and eventually play in state wars. Suggestions tips to help me reach my goals and improve my skating. Also is it hard to adjust from skating tougher wheels with less speed to lighter wheels made for speed?
There is an excellent website SPECIFICALLY designed to give tips and tricks to roller (and ice) hockey players. I highly suggest checking it out. There’s a ton of information that has been very beneficial to improving my roller hockey skills.
Just to touch briefly, choosing the proper stick, stopping, selecting the right kind of wheels, replacing bearings, rotating wheels, stick handling, different types of shots, the list goes on and on and on.
